Alexandra Masciantonio is currently a postdoctoral researcher at Utrecht University (Netherlands). She holds a PhD in social psychology from the University of Lorraine (France) and was previously a postdoctoral researcher at Maastricht University (Netherlands). Her research focuses on how citizens use social media from a cross-platform perspective, i.e., comparing the use of several social media. She is particularly interested in how social media usage affects mental health and political participation. Alexandra is also dedicated to public engagement, with the ambition of fostering exchanges between research and citizens.
